Licensed Professional Counselor
As a two-time cancer survivor, Amanda brings clinical expertise and personal experience to her practice in supporting those with chronic health issues. She understands firsthand the challenges of navigating chronic illness, as well as the emotional complexities of grief, loss, and uncertainty that often accompany such journeys. This unique perspective informs her compassionate, empathic approach to supporting clients through similar experiences.
At the same time, caregivers and loved ones may experience their own grief, overwhelm, burnout, and feelings of helplessness. Through therapy, Amanda supports caregivers in developing self-compassion, practicing meaningful self-care, advocating for themselves and their loved ones, and finding a greater sense of empowerment.
Amanda offers therapy that focuses on improving understanding, addressing support needs, enhancing emotional well-being, and ultimately improving the quality of life for both individuals and their support systems.
